There are three important new books about 74 Squadron WWII pilots. The first is about Peter St John who fought with 74 during the Battle of Britain but sadly lost his life towards its end on 22nd October 1940. A Salute to One of the Few by Simon St John Beer is written in novel like style and is eminently readable. The second is about a gent very well known to us – John Freeborn (deceased). Tiger Cub by Christopher Yeoman tells John’s story during the Battle of Britain and is also written almost as a novel and is an excellent read. A new addition for sale is an excellent book by Bob Cossey--' a tiger's tale'--also charting the life of John Freeborn -A MUST BUY at just £5 All details of content and how to obtain a copy are on the attached scans.
